From the Mia Alpina, it's just a short jump over to the slopes: You will find the Spieljoch valley station directly behind the hotel. Take this lift up to the "first" ski area in the Ziller Valley.

Our VIP shuttle buses are available to all hotel guests and will take you to the valley station of the Spieljochbahn "1 minute" and to the valley station of Kaltenbach - Hochzillertal "approx. 6 minutes".
One step outside the hotel door and the public ski bus will take you directly to the Hochfügen ski area.

But the Zillertal has much more to offer. This has been confirmed by the world's largest test portal of ski resorts, skiresort.de, which chose the Ziller Valley as the "Best Ski Valley" in 2021. Wow!

Spieljoch Ski Resort

The Spieljoch Ski Resort is the first ski resort in the Zillertal and, with the longest, snow-covered valley run in the entire Ziller Valley, offers fantastic ski days during your winter vacation with the whole family.

In 2017, €45 million were invested in the renovation of the lift as well as the snowmaking system, and in the following years, the old 3-seater chairlift will be replaced by another 10-seater gondola lift and, in the final stage, a spectacular peak-to-peak direct connection to the Hochzillertal ski area will be built.

Kaltenbach Ski Resort

The Kaltenbach-Hochzillertal/Hochfügen (SKi-optimal) Ski Resort is located just five minutes by car from Mia Alpina. There are 85.6 kilometers of slopes and 5.1 kilometers of ski routes available for skiing and snowboarding. 36 lifts transport guests from A to B.

The winter sports area is located at an altitude of 600 to 2,377 meters. The Hochzillertal and Hochfügen ski areas, which have been connected for more than 10 years, offer skiing pleasure at the highest level at the entrance to the Ziller Valley. From the main entrance in Kaltenbach in the Ziller Valley, the lifts and slopes in the ski area extend up to almost 2,400 meters, so that snow is guaranteed until April. The entire winter sports area offers mainly modern gondola lifts and chairlifts, which transport skiers and snowboarders swiftly uphill. Skiing in Kaltenbach and Hochfügen offers an optimal vacation experience for every taste.

Pleasure skiers will enjoy the first-class gastronomy in the ski area, including the "world's best ski hut" – the legendary Kristallhütte. It's been named "World's Best Ski Hut" three times!

Hochfügen Ski Resort

The Hochfügen ski resort is located at 1,500 meters above sea level, with ski connections to Ski-optimal Hochzillertal/Kaltenbach and the Fügen Spieljochbahn.

Sporty skiers and snowboarders, smaller and larger groups, families, and couples feel equally at home in Hochfügen. They enjoy varied slopes, breathtaking panoramic views, steep slopes for that extra kick, mogul slopes for experienced skiers, firn snow slopes in spring, or gentle slopes and routes for enjoyable carving. All this on 90 kilometers of slopes in a skiing alliance with Hochzillertal and the connection via shuttle bus to the Spieljochbahn. Hochfügen is particularly popular with powder snow fans. Under the motto "Fun with brains", Hochfügen offers freeriders special services with information and course opportunities to navigate the free ski area well-trained and independently.

Winter offers for everyone

In addition to perfect slopes and beautiful deep-snow runs, Hochfügen has a lot more to offer: nine kilometers of high-altitude cross-country ski trails, a natural toboggan run that is lit daily, guided romantic snowshoe hikes, and extensive touring opportunities.

Zillertaler Superskipass

The Zillertal Superskipass is valid from December 5, 2021, to April 18, 2022, on the entire 542 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes and 180 lifts in the Zillertal. The duration of the Superskipass can be freely selected from two to 21 days. A ski pass for up to 1.5 days is only available for the individual ski areas.
